“happy?”
May 5, 2008
You know you’re having a weird weekend when you’re stuck sitting in class on a Sunday morning staring at the tops of trees rhythmically waving in the wind and humming depressing Iron and Wine songs to yourself as a teacher fervently tries to stuff some appreciation of the beauty of standard deviation into your sleep numbed skull.
Naturally, I retained focus on my train of thought i.e. whether I was happy instead of statistics. I was forced to conclude that I was, lack of blogging activity being a clear indicator of little to no internal strife and/or brooding.
Happiness, to me, is a grassy hill at night. Lay on a hill and watch the stars as they stare unblinkingly back at you and the odd shapes clouds form. It’s been too long.
What’s happiness for you? This blog is far too full of me already, please drop a comment about what makes you happy. Be honest, though. Go nuts! And thanks for reading.

What makes me happy?
Good company, good conversation. Coffee smells and roasting smells chocolately aftertastes.
And hugs. Real ones.

The little things in nature. Like bird eggs come in different colors and I doubt it contributes to their survival – it is just cool.

happiness for me having a place to go to and knowing i can get there…one way or the other…sooner or later…i am happy so long as i have a destination in mind..without a journey i am bereft of all purpose and meaning

Satisfaction makes me happy. Now figuring out what brings satisfaction is quite tough

My brother got into IBA yesterday. For many reasons than just getting into IBA, it was one of the happiest days of my life.

Little things make me happy. Like a hot cup of green tea, a good book, warm long bath, walking in the park..big things make me nervous

When I sit back and look at it, its amazes me those little things that has made the day worthwhile for me…
writing on my blog
a good book entry to read
nice cup of coffee
walk in the park
hanging out with friends
exploring something new
change
helping out someone
I can probably go for many more, but i think to sum it up its all have to do with internal happiness
wishing u betta day than good!~
